About Us

AMbu-Med is a modern independent ambulance service run by front line paramedics, offering medical cover at events across the country. We are based in East Yorkshire and pride ourselves in offering an enthusiastic professional service. All our events are managed in person by the proprietor to ensure high standards of care and to oversee the smooth delivery of our service.

The company is owned by Paramedics who are registered with the 'Health Care Professions Council' (HCPC) giving you peace of mind that we are qualified professionals

Staff

Run by professional paramedics with 20 years combined experience who started their careers as medics in the Army Medical Corps and have 10 years experience with the NHS. Our staff are qualified trainers.

Our paramedics are both IHCD registered and possess Fd Degree in Paramedic Science and are Emergency Driver Trained (Blue Light) and fully insured. All our team are CRB checked

Events

AMbu-Med provide Medical cover at Events and employ qualified first aiders, paramedics, doctors and nurses. We cover musical festival, sporting and equestrian events, school fun days and local community events. We also volunteer our services to charity events and are committed to offering first aid awareness to children and other vulnerable groups.

NVQ and BETEC

We are an approved center for Qualsafe awards. Qualsafe are an organisation who are recognised by Ofqual.

Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)

First Aid at work annual refresher

Credits gained count toward NVQ and BETEC Qualifications

All successful candidates will receive a 1st Aid certificate and plastic wallet card.
